Dean Wilkinson is currently the Vice President of Operations & Purchasing for International Delicacies. Dean has been part of the California Olive Oil Council (COOC) olive oil sensory taste panel since its inception in 1997. In 2005, he received his Panel Supervisors Certification at ONAOO (University of Imperia, Italy). Since 2006, he has been the Taste Panel Leader for the COOC. In 2008, he received the Pioneer Award from the COOC for his pioneering efforts in the olive oil industry. Dean has been a judge many National and International olive oil competitions over the last 19 years. He also continues to give educational seminars though out the industry to help educate people in regards to olive oil, its attributes and the ever changing landscape of the industry. He is a pioneer in the olive oil industry’s fight for the regulations of the quality of olive oil in the U.S.
