Piquillo Pepper & Mango Salsa Chicken

It takes two! Yes, only 2 ingredients to make this delicious, healthy, flavorful chicken. All you need is 2 lbs of boneless chicken breast and a jar of your favorite Cucina & Amore salsa. You will have protein for the whole family. It’s also works wonders to spice up your regular meal prepping routine! This simple, yet wonderful 2-Ingredient Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken recipe is from Gimme Some Oven.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 3-4 hours



  1. Place the chicken breast in one even layer in a crockpot/slow cooker
  2. Pour the entire jar of salsa evenly over the chicken
  3. Cook on high for about 3-4 hours
    • It all depends on the thickness of the chicken breast. Mine were small so it only needed 3 hours
  4. Shred the chicken with 2 forks
    • If the chicken is fully cooked, the meat should shred easily
  5. Enjoy!


  • Use another Cucina & Amore Salsa
    • Fire Roasted Red Pepper
    • Fire Roasted Yellow Pepper
  • Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice
  • Sprinkle some salt and pepper onto the chicken before you pour on the salsa
