Biscotti Sugar Cookies

This was another “a-ha” moment that I came across and was super excited to try. I kept thinking of different ways to incorporate our biscotti cookies. I wanted to go beyond the normal chocolate dipped biscotti. One thing that people love to eat are cookies. However, biscotti isn’t always the first choice people think of when they are craving for some cookies. This recipe blends the traditional Italian cookie with some homemade sugar cookies.

Cook Time: 13-15 minutes


  • Cucina & Amore Biscotti cookies
    • Chocolate
    • Almond
    • Pistachio
    • Cranberry
  • Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of butter


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Choose any flavor Biscotti you would like (I’ve used all 4 separately and they are equally delicious)
  3. Place all the biscotti cookies in a large ziplock bag
    • Can do less if you want less biscotti chunks 
  4. Take a rolling pin or a meat tenderizer and crush the biscotti until they are in chunks
    • Do not crush it too much, you still want there to be chucks of biscotti in the cookie
  5. Make the Sugar Cookie dough according to the package
    • In a medium bowl, blend the cookie mix, egg, and butter
  6. Add the crushed biscotti pieces to the sugar cookie dough
  7. Stir until the biscotti pieces are evenly mixed
  8. On a cookie sheet, place a heaping tablespoon of biscotti cookie dough
    • Space them about 2 inches apart  
  9. Bake for about 13-15 minutes depending on the oven
  10. Enjoy!
